Yes, there certainly are.  Here's Sister Johnson with an Elephant Ear plant.  It grows from a bulb, and the leaves get several times larger than these - as big as an Elephant's ear, hence the name. 

We may try to bring a bulb or two home with us, and see if they will grow in Utah.  Maybe St. George?
